it's been long time for our team, for all players who helped to test our server and very short for our server to have LIVE status (from September 15th). As server administration, that's not a result we really wanted and expected. Our server is not perfect, a lot of players helped to fix issues during LIVE and there are a lot of bugs that needs to be fixed in the future.
For LIVE, to be fair - we expected more online players. We expected much bigger community but got what we really worth. We needed to invest more to commercials, whole server infrastructure. In case that we had limited budget, we spent every euro that we could, but it was not enough. That's a lesson for us: collect much bigger budget next time!
Yesterday's events were very unpleasant. We got stabbed in the back by our own GM, which in small period of time were able to destroy whole server's infrastructure. Unluckily we had no backup plan for this situation(lesson for us Nr2). A huge shame for him, that he did such a favor for our server and for us, that we were not prepared for these kind of situations. That's only our administration skills problem and whole responsibility goes to a whole project.
Lastly, news about the server. We were not able to restore server from yesterday's activities so we definitely need to wipe out. Secondly, we already spent our budget for commercials and whole system - our team can't afford to maintain our server now. That means, we are going offline for a long time, until there will be a much bigger budget (maybe not so long).
Sorry for all our players, for those, who really wanted to play in our server despite all hardship and for those, who inspired us everyday to work harder and try to reach greater results and quality.
